Forging a Resilient Future – Young Leaders Shaping U.S.-Afghanistan Relations

Concept Overview:
The second conference of the Kabul-Washington Dialogue, hosted by the Afghanistan Young Leaders
Organization (AYLO) at George Washington University, aims to redefine and strengthen the partnership
between the U.S. and Afghanistan. With a focus on “A Renewed Vision for a stable and stronger U.S.-Afghanistan Partnership,” this conference will serve as a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration, bringing
together diverse voices to address the challenges and opportunities facing both nations.

Objectives:
1. Fostering Dialogue: The Kabul-Washington Dialogue aims to create a welcoming space for key
stakeholders, including government officials, diplomats, experts, and young leaders, to engage in
meaningful conversations that bridge the gap between Washington and Kabul in a post-Taliban government. Through the exchange of insights and experiences, we aspire to foster understanding, cultivate shared values, enhance collaboration, create mutual benefit, and build meaningful connections.
2. Empowering the Next Generation: Afghanistan Young Leaders have a pivotal role in shaping diplomatic relations. This conference will ensure that their insights and perspectives are at the forefront,
highlighting their commitment to building a prosperous future for their country.
3. Addressing Critical Issues: The conference will address critical topics such as the U.S. – Taliban
Doha peace agreement, the collapse of Afghanistan’s army, the creation of Jihadi Madrasas, and the
quest for a free and democratic Afghanistan.
4. Promoting Collaborative Solutions: By encouraging the sharing of ideas and experiences, the conference aims to develop actionable strategies for a stable and prosperous future of Afghanistan. This
dialogue emphasizes the importance of a strong, cooperative relationship between the U.S. and
Afghanistan, rooted in mutual interest and understanding.

Expected Outcomes:
